Day 2 China
2010-04-16 -5! More like it!!! I like!!! Closer to the top. Tied 13th at the moment and it was a fun day. A sweet eagle at the 2nd. High threewood to 3 meters. Nothing I enjoy more than pulling off a shot just as imagined.
Kept working hard on the scoring game after the round. My caddie Colin is good at giving me constructive critisism and things to work on. We tried to simulate 18 putts I would get if I was playing good out there on the course. And then see how many putts I would get. In this exercise, all putts feel really important, not quite as important as on the course but almost. A good drill to do I believe.
Afterwards we spent some time on the range working on softer shots that will not spin when hitting the green. I've had a hard time with the shorter shots and specially when the pins are at the back of the greens when I spin them too much.
Went for a little drive around town looking for something else to see than the hotel and the golf course. Suzhou is a really small town here in China, only 7 millions:) Then you know that there is a lot of people in this country.

So happy about our hotel this week! We managed to get a huge room and for nothing more than a small one. Sometimes you get lucky. I'm taking full advantage of arriving first to the hotel room...in a previous picture you can see Pierre's small movable fold-out bed...:).jpg&width=800&height=1200 "img_5102(1).jpg")
