Round 2 Scottish Open
2010-07-09
18 holes of rain. The driver went 220 meters on some holes. It's weird when it rains constantly for a hole round. Usually you can see some kind of light sky somehwere and have hope for better weather but today was a tough day. It got even tougher mentally when we were just finished, the sun came out. The score were still high and +2 cut.
My game wasn't good and I had to fight the hole day. Coming to much underneath the plane still but had a good session afterwards (in the sunshine...) and the ball actually faded!!!
Was practicing next to Vijah Singh. He is funny to watch. His lower body moves more than a dancer's. I think his left knee actually hits his right knee. That's impressive!
On my way to the course. This is before hell (rain) broke loose.
Practice session with stand-in coach Pontus "The mustasch man" Eliasson.
The coach and Erik Frost struggling in the afternoon heat...I'm not pissed off at the draw at all:)

Tough day again Alex.5 birdies but 4 doubles or worse.
What is happening? Is it the new swing and getting used to it under tournament conditions or something else?
Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

Good blog, but i think the updates about your game for the day are too poor. Allways give à comment about what you were happy with and the problems you had out there, also tell us your score and if you made the cut. Good luck in Scotland!Alex number 2
he doesnt have to write anything, be happy he is still taking time to write for us while he could be relaxing or doing other important stuff. so dont tell him his updates are too poor, u are not in his position.Alex, we believe in u! just trust ur feel

If you can survive 18 Scottish style and fight another day, you can survive anything. Believe in what you're doing and it'll work out just fine. Don't fight the draw, feel it baby! Stay cool dude, love your golf and the blog.reply
