Good weekend anyway
2010-09-06
Last week didn't turn out the way I wanted to. I hit the ball good enough but my short game wasn't there. There are so many short fiddly shots around that course and they seem very easy when you set up but the upside-down-salad bowl greens are giving you a hard time. So...
...me and Edfors spent 3 hours playing short game comps around the trickiest green of them all and we felt like we were back into the groove..jpg&width=800&height=1066)

I had a deal with my putting coach Jon Karlsen that I was going to complete four exercises that we have in putting before the 1st of Sept. The deal was a free day of each other's time. I lost but yesterday I finally broke my record on of them. Was so pumped. Felt very nervous in the end of the exercise, even just on that putting green. That's the kind of exercise you need, tournament like.
It was really fun to work out with Heikki Kovalainen. Mikko says that I've got a lot of energy but Heikki has some serious overload. You can understand he loves to race F1.
Pierre was pushing the crap out of me and it feels like you're gonna puke at the high altitude. I hope it makes me better at ground level now. Fingers crossed:)
Leaving the beauty of Crans-Montana.
Saw this down in Geneva though so I didn't miss the mountains as much. An old Lambo.
My friend was racing in a sailing comp so went to watch that. Never watched sailing before and I heard the Swiss are good at it since they don't have much wind, so they have to be efficient. My friend's team Alinghi won so it was a good day! I need to start winning. I got some ways to go but I'm gonna give it my all. Come on now!!!
Get a good position in the "flying start" seems like the key.
After the win.
Gummibåts-love:)
Going to Amsterdam now to get training for the KLM Open. I have a good record there. 3rd-8th-10th places so far so I got good vibes. I said that last week too I guess:) But my motivation is high and I believe more in myself now. And, I got Pontus on the bag so what could go wrong:)
See you theeeere!

Alex - man, you gotta learn to relax MAJ style. Motivation is great but you train and try WAY TOO HARD. Relax and let it come man. find a good lady, nice Rioja (like MAJ), cigar, chill and get laid. You'll play way better I promise you man. You are way too intense about it all !reply
