  We are heading over to Abu Dhabi soon from George Airport. It was a great week down here at Fancourt. What a course...Tough and fun. It was the toughest rough I've ever seen. A missed shot, gone! But it wasn't super tight everywhere but you had to really gamble when hitting into the par fives. A little off line with your second shot. Done! I finished 2 under par and in 16th place. 
  
  It was really good to get going again with tournament golf. I've tried to prepare good for this year over the winter break but it's always good to come back to a tournament to see how the game is and work hard at scoring. My caddie is great at getting me in the right direction at tournaments. It's easy to practice a lot when you are by yourself but it's not as easy to practice the right way. At tournaments I find it easier and more motivating to practice the whole game.
  
  So overall it was great to be back on the course in a real tournament setting. Not just playing around.

  Just found out Mikko is back in action in Abu Dhabi, wish him all the best from us in Cumbria Alex he deserves it.

  Hi Alex, last time you were paired with MR Laurie on a links course was round 2 ROYAL ST GEORGES god damn disaster, round 2 Fancourt links,same pairing fantastic round, your game as come on tons in such a short time its just great to be able to say "im a big fan of Alex noren", Skys the limit AL, catch you later.
