  first round of Spanish Open

  This course is just great. You learn a lot playing here. First nine, is fairly long and you have to play agressively of the tee to get chances for birdies and the back nine is shorter but you have to play the shots so perfectly to get close to the hole. The greens were fast and soft and any spin would suck them back of the greens. I need to get better at the soft shot that doesnt spin. 
  
  Got off to a bad start with two fast bogeys but got back to level par 72. Game was ok. It was just a little difficult to get back into this kind of golf again. Last three weeks has just been hitting as hard as you could off the tee and then trying to get it close and get as many birdie opportunities as you can and you didnt have to think about the spin at all.
  
  Teeing off late today but going to practice a little bit before warming up. Usually dont do that but we will see if it helps today.
  
  1.45 with Hansen and Velasco again.

  Spanish Open

  2011-05-04 Another week now. Barcelona, Spain. El Prat Golf Club. The best course Iäve played for a very long time on tour. Its a mix of everything. Half treeline, half open holes. And the condition is just superb! What a week! Had two great days here with a practice round yesterday with Floren and practice today with my coaches Mike Walker and Pete Cowen. And, its been a lot of clubmaking and regripping in the Callway truck. I start to mess a lot with my clubs. Havent done much with them in the past but I guess its important to have the right grips and lies on the clubs...:=) Changing wedges as well. Mike and Pete love messing around with different bounces and grips. Our coaching sessions are very nice. We all hit shots next to each other and come up with different shots. They are great to practice with. 8.45 tee off tomorrow with Soren Hansen and Alvaro Velasco. See you!!!

  He blames it all on me for not telling him that we were going to play in Barcelona. He just didn't listen:)

  Rain-delay, play and suspended again. 2 under after 11 and 3 shots of the lead. So, 25 holes to go.

  Turned in 39 after a few shitty shots...and Erik told me he'd pay dinner if we got back to level. 31 on the back and Erik was paying. Yes. A long time ago I finished birdie-eagle. Feels mumma.
