Parador

We've ended up in Spain, more exactly at Parador Golf Club. Greens were great, fast and firm. Not so attractive this course at times but plays ok.

We still had fun last weekend and got a lot of practice in. Mike Walker, my old and now new coach is helping me here. He is Pete Cowen's assistant. Yeah, I went back to Mike and Pete who I worked with for three and a half year and they helped me a lot during that time.

Feeling better now than before so I'm looking forward to play on thursday.

Had to visit the doctor after shivering from a fever attack. The doctor said that I should rest and just relax. I almost agreed with him and thought watching a few movies would be nice. But, the stupid golf course is just outside the window with fresh balls on the range and a sweet short game area. Rest?Maybe not. Specially not after a missed cut...so after 7 hours of practice I can now feel that I should've listen to the doctor. I had fun though.

These guys are really having a tough time...
Yeah! Why not guys?! Come down to sunny Sicily and enjoy the sun and drink some coffee! You want some money for doing that? Yeah, why not!

Another night of fever shivering before another practice day. Can I just fast-forward the time so I will skip the night?

Felt like I haven't been playing scoring golf for a month. Which I kind of haven't. It's been a lot of training but not enough scoring. Next time I remember:)

But it's great being back into competition. You understand what you need to do to score lower. Everything gets clearer. It's easy shooting low scores when the pins are in the middle of the green, harder when they are stuck back somewhere close to a water hazard or something. Anyway, keep working huh...

Hope the snow is going away soon up north so you can play!

I miss Valderrama already but it's even more fun to play again. All the guys are here in Sicily and Pierre is back. We now started a new contest. The one who can have the lowest fat percentage by the first of August wins. Might be a good contest for me so I won't eat three ice-creams per day...

Anyway. The course here played easy yesterday and brutal today. It blew a million miles per hour today and I'm not exaggerating. Honestly. And yesterday felt like the most calm day in history.

Back in the gym now for a little session. But first "Solsidan". A tv-series.

Just me and Mike and a golf course. Couldn't stop hitting shots today. Golf has never been this much fun.

This is a good spot to put up a tent for next year. A bag full of new golf balls and a 56 degree wedge and some clothes. That should do it.

Mike plays nicely.
