Let´s go!!!
2010-11-20
The year is over! It´s been a real roller coaster and I´ve enjoyed almost all of it;) Not the bad tournaments as much as the good ones, but I´ve learnt so much and enjoyed the progress. The funny thing is that last year I finished 25th on the overall Race to Dubai rankings and this year I didn´t make it to the final, BUT! I feel so much better as a golfer now than I did last year at this time. The scoring hasn´t been as good but that might come soon;)
I´ve already started my training for next year and there will be no vacation for me. So, follow me on the winter training over the next month and I hope you guys are great and will have a great winter!!!
Thanks for all the wonderful support! You guys help me so much and I can´t thank you enough! You motivate me!
Getting on the plane now in a few hours where I can make a better plan for the training. Let´s go!!!
My camera situation has already improved!!!.jpg&width=800&height=1066)

Hong Kong round 1
2010-11-18
It's amazing how different one week can feel compared to the other- Last week in Singapore felt like a major tournament with a huge tough course, really good field, all the managers and club manufacturers on site, and my energy was on top. That week was long and tough and I can now feel it- This week, the course is shorter and easier, the field is not as good but still good, and my energy is not the same. I don't know why and I've tried to get it back up and it feels better now.
My game today felt so much better than the result shows. 71, one over par in the end puts me way back in the field. Although, the round could have taken a very different direction if I would have just taken my chances and stayed patient. I was level after the 8th and made a birdie on the tough 9th followed by a wedge to 4 feet on the next. After missing that, the frustration was creeping in without knowing it. After discussing wether to hit driver or 3-wood on the par 5 13th I ended up hitting driver into the bunker, which I would've stayed short of with a 3-wood and ended up making par there which is the best chance for a birdie on the whole course. A good wedge on the next but no birdie either. A flyer over the green on the next and ended up making bogey there and the frustration was a fact. I thought I played great and didn't miss many shots and was now back on level par and tons of shots back. Grrrrrrrrrr!
Enough with the bad stuff. Tomorrow is a new day and I'm really looking forward to it. My wedge game was million times better today than previous weeks so there are chances for me still.
Trying out my new 7D here in our cool looking hotel room. I think Nilsson is glued to the bed. He hasn't moved in hours now;).jpg&width=800&height=533)

Had a dream day today out on the course. Great company in the pro-am and my game felt good. Then Richard Castka, a seriously experienced sport photographer, followed us around and got some cool shots. See them all at: http://sportpixgolf.com/main/category/2
Pontus was in good form today but so was this girl;
Over and out from the city of opportunities!

Awesome dinner company
2010-11-16
Just had the best ever dinner...I sat next to two super enthusiastic amatuer photographer who had all the possible photo gear imaginable. I got a two hour lesson. Couldn't be happier now.
Fancy desert. HUGO BOSS dinner was niiiice.
Coffe to make me stay awake to do some work tonight.
Pro-Am tomorrow. The two photo guys I wrote about happens to be my Pro-Am partners. Too bad!!! Not! Had a good little practice day today at Fanling GC here in Hong Kong. Mostly putting and short game. I like being in the tournament mode you get when playing a lot of tournaments in a row.
Rooming with Christian Nilsson this week.
He's now tired of my camera talk and preparing for a movie. Good night...Visit Christian's website here!

A new friend
2010-11-16 Welcome to Hong Kong!
Had a look around last night. Got stuck in one store for two hours. You'll see what store in the last picture.
All these pics are with my old camera. But this is my new baby!!! The pics are turning out great and it's so much faster than my 500D. I still haven't got a long lens but the wide 17-40 which is on right now feels like gold right now. Crazy good colors as well. Do you guys have any recommendations on what bigger lens I should buy for long-range photos. The gettyimages.com guys out here are using super big lenses but I can't really carry one of those with me. Just a nice zoom one would be great to have.
Now it's time for a quick workout and then get ready for the HUGO BOSS dinner at Otto e Mezzo in the city. Hong Kong is a seriously cool city. Have to bring my new baby tonight.
