A good day
2010-09-24
A great day. First stair training. It sucked bad but felt nice after..jpg&width=800&height=1066)
This sucked bad as well but felt good after.
This felt good during I made it...
...but sucked bad after. Carrot juice is good for you but a whole litre of it was a bit on the heavy side. Really pumped about my smothie king mixer though.
A good view from a road above Monaco.
It's Monaco Yacht Show this week so it's packed with boats. Can I just get one of those please? Pretty please?

In training
2010-09-23
Strenth training is pretty hard. At least when you get a schedule that's totally insane. Insane mening very tough and specially considering that I'm playing golf all day as well. Pierre sees these two weeks as a great time to work out hard and stay strong for the remaining part of the season. But, Pierre really cares about my golf too. That's always priority ONE but As Pierre would say: "a strong physique is the number one key to a strong mind", and I need a strong mind out there.
Today I was supposed to do two workouts. One olympic lifting session and one stair training session. When we were done with the lifting it was already 9 pm and I hadn't had dinner yet. It takes a bit too long to get to the golf course down here in Monaco so the days go by way too fast. I'll do the stairs tomorrow...or the next day;)
Sleep well!

All in
2010-09-20
Was a lot of fun last week. The 3rd place finish was just what I needed!!! Nice to feel the adrenalin when having a chance to win again. I want to thank my heavy club for the help with the long game. It's such a nice buddy to have! The shortgame was ten times better but I wouldn't mind it being twenty times better.
Thanks for all the happy comments on the blog cheering me on! It means a lot to me. Thanks again!
I've never been more motivated to train than now. Even bought "Runner's World" and "Thriathlon" magazines on the way home. It looks pretty tough to complete a thriathlon. Not going to try that.
Trying to make me feel like a winner with the "protein jug".

"Firm grip" for the slippery bars they have in the gym and "Red Bull" to get me going. I feel like sleeping for a week now after our 2 hour gym session. This is what we did:- Warm up flexibility. 3 different exercises
- Komplex olympic bar exercises. (5 different exercises in one and 4 x 3 reps on 55 kg)
- Hang cleans 4 x 5 reps on 70 kg, 3 x 3 reps on 80kg, 2 x 2 reps on 85kg, 3 x 1 reps on 85 kg
- Dead-lift 4 x 5 reps on 90 and 100 kg
- Cross cable 2 different directions and 2 sets on each side.
- Dumbbell core exercise.
- Interval running: 10 x 1 min intervals with 1 min rest in-between on 17 km/h.
Got to get the protein shake into the body in some way.
Let's sleep for a week:)

3 off the pace
2010-09-18
Andreas Högberg just got home from a 12 hour day on the golf course. That's the spirit!
I had a really fun day with lots of birdies. Hit the best shot of my life as well which is always fun! -5 for a total of 10 under par. 3 shots off the lead and one more round.
Here is an article on http://www.golf.se/ about me and Pelle Edberg. We're playing together tomorrow and it's gonna be a lot of fun. He's a great guy to play with. Competetive as hell.
Packing is always fun. NOT! We golfers can pack in our sleep.
Sleep time here in Tulln city.
