Going pro.
2010-08-21
Felt great to be back at Terre Blanche. Shot 8 under today so my game is coming back to life it feels like. It's been sleeping for a while but working with the heavy club has awakened my game. Not a moment to early...:).jpg&width=800&height=1066)
Gearing up for long runs. Good down here when running up the mountains in the heat. Last time I hade to carry a 1,5 litre bottle around which felt even more amatueristic than my running itself. Now, I feel like a pro:)
Good night.

Going heavy
2010-08-20
A day at Monte-Carlo Golf Club. First time i've played the actual course.
The course is crazy ondulated but fun to play. Heading over to Terre Blanche tomorrow for a sweet day on both courses over there. Terre Blanche is trying to make their place into a top of the art training institute for tour players to gather to train. Terre Blanche is for sure on the right track.
Unreal views from up Monte-Carlo Golf Club today.
I'm loving my heavy club to practice with. It's pretty heavy, maybe 3 kg. I have no clue actually but it feels like that. It makes me use my body good since you need it to hit the ball far. It's the loft of an 8 iron and I can hit it 135 meters maybe. I try to hit it as far as I can all the time to use my body in the best possible way. If it goes long and straight I'm happy...
Alarm for 5.30 again. Hate those numbers but it's ok when you've finally made it out of bed:)

Mont-Agel
2010-08-16 My vacation was all but a vacation. I think I have some serious "letter combinations". Not so good at just chilling and enjoy doing nothing. The good thing now is that all my friends that have been down here are gone and I can now relax and get back to my normal life again.
Went up to Monte-Carlo Golf Club today where Johan Ryström shot a 60 when the tour stopped there a few years ago. I think he lipped out for a 59. Not sure but hell of a score. The golf course looks like a lot of fun and the practice area is good enough. It's 900 meters above sea level and the air actually feels fresher than down in Monaco. Maybe it's because there are less Ferraris and less cigar smoke than in the city...
This was one of the nicest range sessions I've ever had. Clear skies, crisp temperature, a "heavy club" and golf balls.
