2010-07-18 The Open was a great experience. It played stupidly easy on thursday morning for us but I didn't take advantage of it due to not getting it close enough to the hole and not holing out well enough. The weather switch to brutal winds on friday afternoon and we had to stop play for a bit. It played really tough and The R&A put the pins in ridiculous places to protect the course from low scoring. Combine that with poor play and I missed the cut.
My last Open Championship in 2008 at Birkdale I finished 19th and this year I felt so much more out of control of my ball flight then I felt back then. I've had a good run since 2008 but now finding the swing changes really tough to handle out on the course. I believe in them but I have to have patience and work a lot more on ball control and short game to score better.
Enough serious talk.
Alex Noren Junior Open turned out to be a great tournament this year and more info and pics are coming any day now. An edited movie will also be out within a week so that will be fun to watch. I haven't seen anything from it yet either. I'd love to work more with juniors and set up the course for the tournament in a way that they will learn a lot and enjoy it to the max.
Found a gym...feels great to be back doing it all out again. I've been holding back a touch due to the hectic playing schedule but I love how you feel when you try your hardest in the gym.
Complex strength. Best exercises to get back fast into shape.
Never ever give up:)
Nordea Masters at Bro Hof Slott GC in Stockholm, Sweden coming up this week.
On July 14th the annual Alex Noren Junior Open was held at Alex home club Haninge GK, just outside Stockholm. The participants competed in gazing sun and strong heat over 36 holes. The greens were fast and the course set up tough which challenged the competitiors.

A film from the tournament is being edited and will be online here during next week.
We received a picture and a big thank you from our winner of the Odyssey bag!
Congrats again Mladen!
What up Doug?
Doug Sanders is still kicking ass with his outfits. I don't understand why he is here at St:Andrews. He missed a 2 foot putt on the 18th here in (let me google) 1970 to win outright and had to play 18 holes against Jack Nicklaus in a play-off the next day and lost by one shot. Eh, I guess it's golf and he still loves it. Glad you're here Doug and it's nice to meet you again. I've seen him three years in a row now at The Open.
Spent half an hour in this box today. It's impressive to sit in there all day commentating golf. Zachrisson is my all-time favourite TV commentator. I used to think he wandered off too much and talks nothing about the actual live golf but we can all see what happens on TV anyway.
Never seen this Lexus LFA live.
73 scored today was not a big hit but it's golf/life...:)
Bought a bunch of merchendise. I love having golf stuff laying around at home. Specially towels for some weird reason.
This is taken at 8:30 am this morning. Then it got a lot better...
This is what it looked like at 2 pm. Great improvement:)
