Wentworth is kicking a lot of but this week, including mine. But, I'm not giving up.
One more round and if I can keep my frustrated head out of my game I got a chance for a good finishing score.
I really want to play well and play consistently well in the future and I'm now at a cross road wether how much I'm going to train and how many tournaments I'm going to play. The last few months I've put in a lot of work on my swing with Rikard Fors. To change the swing and still play good golf is a tough thing to do and therefore it's very important to have enough time to train away from tournaments. I've tried to work on my swing during tournaments but it's so hard to do and it makes it tough to compete the next day. So as they say; "If you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always got". Or something like that. So I'm now deciding on what the best thing is to do forward.
What about Robert Karlsson???!!! Unreal, 62 after leaving yesterday thinking he'd missed the cut. He's now 2 back with one more round.
Thanks to all support I've got this week from all you blog readers who were out on the course last few days. You are all sooo great and thanks a lot!!! You make me happy and wanting to get better!
Some of you guys asked how I do the backflipper. Here is the old video when we first figured it out:) It's not a very useful shot but it was kinda fun!
It's a little bit hard to describe how I hit it, but I try to have all the weight on the right leg at impact and scoop the ball backwards. Try it:)
We have received a lot of questions on what clubs and golf balls Alex plays with.
Callaway has up to date information of the content:
Wen-tan Lin from Chinese Taipei could be the most enjoyable partner you can have out there on the course. Played with him a few times now and every time I'm amazed how much he cares about us other players in the group. If you are rolling on close to the hole he cheers it on and really feels for you. After a birdie, he claps you on the back and always says: " it looks so easy for you" and follows it up with a huge grin on his face. I love playing with him and when he's beeing nice to me I find that I'm standing there cheering him on. Kind of a cool thing when you are trying to beat each other's brains out. I think we both understand that this game is tough enough so it helps if you cheer each other on.
Big it up for Lin and big it up for 24 now with Mr. Bauer. Two episodes to watch, lucky night!
Wentworth is our flagship event on tour and it really shows. Everybody who is somehow involved with the tour is here. Crazy, can't wait for the weekend when it calms down. Wednesday, thursday and friday are always super hectic at all tour event and then it's so nice on the weekend. There are more crowds but all agents, coaches and manufacturers are gone and it's all up to performing for us guys and not trying to get our clubs and swings ready for the tournament.
Rikard Fors and Göran Zachrisson are checking out my swing on video. Scary stuff!
Mikko in great shape.
9.55 tee time tomorrow for me. Sleep time now. Dead after a pretty hard day on the practice grounds.
