Done and I can't move.
2010-04-18 Last two days have been really good. Saturday's round felt good. 2 under par and that was with a double on the 13th. Missed a 6 footer for par. Was gonna tap it in and I could see the ball was wobbling, maybe moving before hitting it. I was very unsure if it moved but I'd hate to live with myself if it did and I didn't take a penalty so I took a one shot penalty. Worse things can happen but it felt like I didn't really need it when trying to move up the leaderboard. From then on, I played great and recorded 3 birdies over the last five holes and came in under par and I felt strong going into the last round.
2 under today as well and a tied for 8th place. It was just what I needed- it's been a tough and frustrating start of the season. Not catastrofic but just not as I imagined it. Now, I'm on the right track and I'm more motivated than ever to work hard and smart to move up those leaderboards. Today was the first day in a while I've felt a lot of nerves and high pulse going into the final holes. I love that feeling!
We couldn't have ended the day any better as well. Pierre totally wacked me in the gym starting with legs and chin-ups and then totally smashing me on the tredmill. 10 minutes high tempo warm-up. Then 10 intervals at 1 minute running on 18 km/h and one minute rest in between. Now I feel dizzy, tired, worn out both mentally and physically but overall great!
Heading to South Korea tomorrow! New week, new challenges!
Pierre loved the camera today and got a few pics from the gym:
Started with a few warm-up drills for the legs but they felt kind of heavy today. Then 5 sets of deep squats at 5 reps.
Followed by all out chin-ups. 19 today.
10 minutes warmup. Then the brutal intervals.
The treadmill pulls you along but it was still hard.
Done!
Hope you are all well!!!
See you in South Korea!

Bara några tankar i all välmening...
