Hi Alex, swing looks fine now. My concern is a general one. All this blogging, photographing and contacts with fans and press must undoubtedly take you out of focus. I sincerely hope you know what you are doing. If you´re aiming for, say, world top ten , I would suggest that you concentrate on the game, leave the crap and keep up the serious good work! We are all different, and I guess your personality is a bit different from a guy like Ben Hogan, but I would like to see you put a little less effort into media and a little more into the game. Best wishes Alex, you´re a great guy, whatever way you choose!
Hi Alex, I`m also struggling with my swing and it looks alot like your old one, but of course not as good as yours :). I see a big difference with your new one. You should get alot more power now comparing to the old one. Mine is to flat aswell. My only problem right now is that your new swing doesnt look like Ben Hogans :)...and your old one actually did. Do you agree? :) Good luck Alex and keep up the good work!
Back in Monaco? I don't recognise the practise of Monaco Golf Club though. I haven't been there too often though. Where are you on this video? Everything looking fine with your swing. It did look fine before as well. I'm not good enough to see the difference, but I do hope you are right.
Not a fan of the changes (but a BIG fan of yours)...Wrote several times that your old swing had too much right wrist cock at top of bs, and too much roll thru impact, due to the fact you were underplane--I'm betting pull fades and thins.
Now, you' fixed the problem, sort of, but by changing (wrongly) your handpath--more straight back and upright plane angle...okay, solves the underplane problem, but puts you in a bad position. Looks like shorter arm travel, instead of solving rt wrist cock problem, which gets your plane angle too steep, IMO...
Your a great athelete, and you'll get it sorted out...

Who are you to be making statements like this, youve probally never shot under par in your life but talking to a winner on the European Tour like this ha, I think you should be practising your game instead of talking a good game.
Looks solid alex. Just a question. How many balls would you typically hit to make a change like this? Also, would you be thinking of this swing alteration when playing in a tournament or would you just go out there and hit the ball naturally? Do you practice hitting the ball naturally on the range instead of alsways working on technique? I am a pro too, i just have troubles figuring the right way to play/practice sometimes. thanks and good luck.
Hi Alex . The top of your backswing looks alot better, far more width & the hands are further away from the body, it can only get better from here. Best of luck in the next few tournaments mate.
Hey Alex, The difference is amazing. It looks SOOOOO much better. I always thought you could hit the driver alot straighter and now I think you will be able too. If you keep working on this now for the rest of the year then your results are only going to get better!
Also, I ALWAYS thought Thomas Bjorn was the best pitcher in the world. Just from watching him on TV, I have never said this to anyone, but in my mind I always knew he is the best pitcher of the ball in the world, whenever I see him hit a pitch shot on TV he ALWAYS stiffs it. And I am always waiting for the commentators to say "Bjorn has to be one of the best pitchers in the world" but I have never heard them say it.
hey Alex! we met in Seville last week. I like the changes in your swing. In fact I can see how your lower body action is improving a lot. I am changing some things in my swing, so the drills you show in the video are great help stuff. keep working on it, I think you're in the right track. Hope to see you next year here in Seville again. pick a better hotel next time!
hej Alex!! your blog is sooo cool!!! i read it every day, it is very interesting how is the tour player life. heyy your new swing looks great!! good luck!!
first time at your site but not the last :) i love the way you post videos from your practise session and show what you work on at the moment.
Also I have to say your current swing looks much more athlete. Like you can feel power going to the ball. Like it much more then the old one. I think a lot of amators have problem with overswinging but I wasn't aware that tour pros have this problem as well.

Alex- I like the new position. Looks much more compact and less run-on in the club when the shoulders stop turning back. Can you explain why you have done this though. Is it for ball-flight or control? What is the advantage in this new compact position at the top.
Always enjoying your blog. Good luck!!
